DROP-IN SEW DAYS

Looking to take a break from those hot summer days? Why not join the Algonquin Sewing Center over the summer months for one of their cool drop in sew days.
Drop-in sew days are a great way to unwind, relax and socialize all while getting the chance to be creative. Not unlike quilting retreats Sew days allow sewers and quilters to complete on-going projects in a comfortable workspace that both supportive and distraction free.
June 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 & 18
July 2, 8, 9, 22 & 23 (no program July 15 & 16)
August 5, 6, 19, 20 (no program August 12 & 13)
Cost: $10/day
*No mandatory pre-registration, however it is a first come first serve workspace. Should you like to guarantee your work station for the day you may register in advance for this program in person or over the phone.

Cost: $65/per retreat
Dinners on Wednesday evening is included, lunches are bring your own. Kettle and warm drink options will be available throughout the duration of the retreat.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
Bring your own project(s).
Bring your sewing machine and supplies.
Ironing boards, irons, cutting table and cutting mats are supplied.
All equipment you bring can be left every night as the room we are in will be locked.
*If you do not have a sewing machine you are capable of bringing with you to classes or workshops, the Algonquin Sewing Center has sewing machine available for rent at the cost of $10 per page. Please let the staff know when you register for programming if you require a sewing machine rental.
