Most of our classes run for 6 week sessions, either weekly or bi-weekly. At the moment we have classes everyday of the week. You’re sure to find something you like.

Below we have Garment, Foundation Paper Piecing, Knitting, as well as Quilting classes from Beginner to Intermediate.

We have Thursday Evening Quilting Classes as well as monthly Wednesday night wool applique Sit & Stitch.


Class Registration Policies:

All classes must be paid for upon registration. We will call all registered students 2 weeks before the class to remind them of the upcoming class. If you are unable to attend the class and need to cancel, refunds or store credit will be issued up to 2 weeks before the date of the class.

Class Requirements:

Unless otherwise stated, all classes require a sewing machine in good working order, a basic sewing kit including a rotary cutter and pattern/supplies for the project. We provide cutting boards, rulers, and irons but you are welcome to bring your own. We recommended that you bring a lunch (or snacks) with you.

  • Beginners Quilting

    In this 6 week course you will learn all the fundamentals of quilting by completing small projects, for example table topper, tote bags, etc. There will be follow up projects available to make at home. Each week we will learn new terminology and develop quilting skills. Projects are showcased in the classroom

  • Beginners Crocheting

    In this 6 week class, students will learn the basics of crocheting, preparing them for larger more complex projects. No experience is necessary, this course is for beginners. A crochet hook and yarn is included in the registration fee. For all ages 9/99.

  • EVENING Quilting Class

    Our first project will be Magic Tiles. A Stained Glass Quilt is one that is designed to have the look of stained glass, from simple to intricate. When learning how to make a stained glass quilt, one of the most important parts is the fabric. You will want to have black or another very dark fabric to serve as the outlines to all of your stained glass panels. Also brightly coloured or bright solid fabric to serve as the stained glass windows. Making a stained glass Quilt isn't that difficult. With good instructions even a beginner can do one.

  • "Bring Your Own Project" class

    Do you have lots of UFO’s that never seem to get finished. Come in and join other quilters to share ideas, sew and have fun!, A teacher will be available to you at each class to answer any questions and help with your projects. Bring your own materials.

  • EVENING Sit & Stitch

    This is a ‘drop-in’ for anyone interested in hand stitching, wool applique and a little socializing. This event runs from 5:00-8:00 on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Bring your own project or pick up a wool pattern or kit at the store. Joanne would be happy to assist or teach you how to do wool applique. Cost:$8.00 + Tax each day. Pay when you arrive.

  • Beginners Quilting

    Looking for an easy project; Here it is! Nana Flower Quilt pattern. This quilt only needs 4 different fabrics and uses only 6 1/2” blocks and half square triangles. The quilt finishes at 108” X 108”.

  • Knitting Club

    This class runs every other week. This is a fun group to work on your own projects and socialize with other knitters. If you have a project that you want to knit, bring it to class and Erin will work with you or she can help you chose a project to work on. Help and motivation will be available.
