Our children’s and youth programs are perfect for those who are interested in learning how to sew and quilt.
Kids cAN SEW
Beginner Class
Instructor: Wendy
Saturday 10:00am-1:00pm
Our Beginner Level classes are for those who are completely new to sewing & quilting. Sewing machine knowledge and/or experience is not a requirement for this class as the instructor will be covering all the basics. Participants must be 8 years of age or older to sign up for this program.
The “Kids can Sew” beginner sewing program meets once a month on a Saturday. Each class participants will learn a new sewing technique and create a basic project using their newly learned skill.
Bringing your own sewing machine to class is encouraged, however we do have sewing machine available for rent if required.
Cost: $45 per class or $200 for 5 classes

Kids can Quilt
Confident beginner class
Instructor: Wendy
Saturday 1:30-4:30pm
Our Confident Beginner classes are for those who have already participated in quilting program(s) in the past and/or have previously sewing or quilting experience but are looking to expand their knowledge and techniques. Participants must be 9 years of age or older to sign up for this program and have some previous sewing experience.
The “Kids can Quilt” confident beginner program meets once a month on a Saturday. Each class participants will learn the ins and outs of creating their very own quilt. This is a school year long program running from September to June.
Bringing your own sewing machine to class is encouraged, however we do have sewing machine available for rent if required.
Cost: $200 for 5 classes
Dates: Sept. 13, Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6 & Jan. 10
