Block of the month kits will arrive November 2026 and the BOM program is due to commence as of January 2027.

Beginner Class

3rd Tuesday of the Month 1-4pm
Join Joanne once a month to create one of two beautiful wool block wall hanging; “Secret Garden” by Sew Cherished or “Basin Spools Quilt” by Buttermilk Basin Design Co. This block of the month will feature a wool applique creation process on cotton. Throughout each session participant will cut, sew and create each block from start to finish.
Cost: $120 +hst, supplies & pattern

Join the Algonquin Sewing Center this summer for a for our Christmas in July Workshop!
In this program participants will get the opportunity to learn how to create their very own decorative crocheted ornaments. Some basic crochet comprehension is recommended for those interested in participating in this workshop.
