Crochet
Beginner Class

Our Beginner Level classes are for those who are completely new to the art of crochet. No previous knowledge or skill is required to register for this course.
This six week class is perfect for those who are interested in learning how to crochet but don’t know where to start. Or for those who are familiar with crochet but would like a social setting to work through project and assist with problem solving.
Cost: $55 per session+ supplies

Knitting
Confident beginner class
Instructor: Erin
Every other Thursday 1:30-4:30pm
Bring your knitting with you and we will spend the afternoon knitting and socializing. Help is available for any questions or problems you may encounters. This fall we will also introduce cables and entrelac knitting.
Cables are quite simple to work and are accomplished by knitting groups of stitches out of order.
Entrelac is knitting in tiers. After setting up a base row, a row of rectangles that lean to the right are knit, followed by a road of rectangles that lean to the left.
Participants should have some knowledge of knitting. Help and motivation will be available to work on completing in-progress projects.
Cost: $50+ supplies

MACHINE EMBROIDERY
Confident Beginner Class

Once a month on Tuesday 10:00am-4:00pm
This program is designed for all skill levels as our instructor will work with each participant individual. All participants require their own embroidery machine and have a working knowledge on how to use it.
The course is designed for those who are interested in starting to do machine embroidery but are not sure where to begin. Or for those who are looking for guidance on specific projects. Participants can bring their own projects or follow along as a group to learn all the skills and techniques to creating beautiful embroidery patterns and designs.
Cost: $50 per sessions+ supplies

upcycled jean projects
intermediate class

Wednesday 1:30-4:30pm
Our Intermediate level classes are for those who have already participated in quilting program(s) in the past and have previously knowledge and confidence with a variety of quilting/sewing skills and techniques.
This six week class will have participants focus on the development and creation a variety of demin based jean projects such as purses, glasses cases and wallets. Projects will be review at the beginning or the program.
Cost: $120+supplies (Participants will be required to supply old jeans for their projects. Please note that the recycled jeans must be 100% cotton with no spandex or stretch to them to work for the projects).
