Beginner Class

Our Beginner Level classes are for those who are completely new to sewing & quilting. Sewing machine knowledge and/or experience is not a requirement for this class as the instructor will be covering all the basics.

In this program participants will learn the basics of how to use their sewing machine, while creating cute and useful quilted projects. Each week a different project and new techniques will be presented.

Cost: $80 per session+ Mini Wonderful Curve Book & Ruler

All About Curves

Confident Beginner Class

Instructor: Kim

Monday 1:30-4:30pm

Our Confident Beginner classes are for those who have already participated in quilting program(s) in the past and/or have previously sewing or quilting experience but are looking to expand their knowledge and techniques.

Join Kim’s Wonder Curve Ruler class on Monday afternoons and discover how to make a beautiful curved quilted piece. The first class we will learn how to use the ruler and make a “butterfly” table runner (pattern included). Then upon completion of our first project, each week a new block with a new pattern will be the focus, with extra lessons and tips for creating beautiful quilts.

Cost: $120 per session+ Mini Wonderful Curve Book & Mini Curve Ruler

All About Snowmen

Confident beginner class

Instructor: Dawna

Tuesday 6:00-9:00pm

Our Confident Beginner classes are for those who have already participated in quilting program(s) in the past and/or have previous sewing or quilting experience but are looking to expand their knowledge and techniques.

Snowman are so much fun! Let’s sew some together.

In this program participants will be focusing on three different snowman based quilted projects. Projects will vary in size, technique and purpose. Techniques being covered are quilt piecing and fusible applique. Lots of embellishments may be added to make these adorable little guys so happy.

Cost:$120.00 per session+ supplies

Our Confident Beginner classes are for those who have already participated in quilting program(s) in the past and/or have previous sewing or quilting experience but are looking to expand their knowledge and techniques.

The “bring your own project” class runs in six week increments and is perfect for those who are already comfortable with sewing, creating and quilting. In this program you will have the opportunity to create any number of projects you desire while having the benefit of the a social quilting experience. Additionally, an Instructor will be present throughout to assist with any issues or challenges you may come across while working on your projects.

Cost: $110 per sessions+ supplies

Winter Session 2- Mar. 4 to Apr. 15 (no class Mar. 18)

INTERMEDIATE class

Thursday 10:00am-1:00pm

Our Intermediate level classes are for those who have already participated in quilting program(s) in the past and have previous knowledge and confidence with a variety of quilting/sewing skills and techniques.

This six week class is a great opportunity to work on current projects,  or start new projects as well as socialize with other quilters. All quilters are welcome and encouraged to join this program’s creative and encouraging atmosphere.

Cost: $110+supplies

Winter Session 1- Jan. 8 to Feb. 12

Winter Session 2- Feb. 19 to Apr. 2 (no class Mar. 19)

Spring Session 1- Apr. 9 to May 14

Keeping it Curvy

Intermediate Class

Instructor: Kim

Thursday 6:00-9:00pm

Our Intermediate level classes are for those who have already participated in quilting program(s) in the past and have previous knowledge and confidence with a variety of quilting/sewing skills and techniques.

Join Kim’s Thursday night quilting class and discover how to make a beautiful curved quilted projects. The first class participants will learn how to use the curve ruler through the creation of a “butterfly” table runner (pattern included). Then following our first class participants will then be asked to select their favourite pattern from the Wonderful Curve Book. This will be their focus project for the remainder of the course. Each week participants will be presented with extra lessons and tips for creating beautifully curvy quilted projects.

Cost: $120 per session + supplies, Book & Ruler
