The Algonquin Sewing Center is looking for individuals to join our creative team as workshop leaders & class instructors
— We are specifically looking for individuals who are able to teach;
Beginner Quilting Programs,
Garment Sewing,
Youth Sewing Instructors

Machine Applique
This workshop is best for confident beginners; individuals with a good working knowledge of their sewing machine.
Participants in a great starter class for those interested in trying their hand at Machine Applique.

Landscape Wall Hanging
Using the faux stained glass technique, you’ll create a stunning landscape appliqué wall-hanging! Choose your pattern from one of the many available in the store. (materials must be purchased before class.)

Jean Purse
This is an intermediate level workshop.
Create an adorable upcycled jean purse of your very own in this one day workshop.
Participants must bring at least one pair of old, 100% cotton jeans to the workshop. Bring more then one pair if you are looking for a variety of jean shades in your purse. Jeans should not have any stretch in them. We recommend men’s jeans.
