  • Beginners Quilting

    You will learn all the terminology & fundamentals of quilting in this course by completing small projects, such as table topper, wall hangings and tote bags.

  • Beginners Crocheting

    You will learn all the basics tricks & tips of crocheting, preparing them for larger more complex projects. No experience is necessary, this course is for beginners all those 9 and above are welcome.

    Includes a crochet hook & yarn in the registration fee.

  • EVENING Quilting Class

    Our first project will be Magic Tiles. A Stained Glass Quilt styled designed which can be as simple or as intricate as desired. When learning how to make a stained glass quilt, fabric is key. You will require a black or dark fabric to serve as the outlines to all of your brightly coloured stained glass panels.

  • "Bring Your Own Project" class

    Do you have lots of UFO’s that never seem to get finished. Come in and join other quilters to share ideas, sew and have fun!, A teacher will be available to you at each class to answer any questions and help with your projects.

  • EVENING Sit & Stitch

    This is a ‘drop-in’ for anyone interested in hand stitching, wool applique and a little socializing. This event runs on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Bring your own project or pick up a wool pattern or kit at the store.

  • Beginners Quilting

    Looking for an easy project; Here it is! Nana Flower Quilt pattern. This quilt only needs 4 different fabrics and uses only 6 1/2” blocks and half square triangles. The quilt finishes at 108” X 108”.

  • Knitting Club

    This class runs every other week. This is a fun group to work on your own projects and socialize with other knitters. If you have a project that you want to knit, bring it to class and Erin will work with you or she can help you chose a project to work on.

  • Embroidery

    This monthly class is your chance to give that embroidery machine a workout! Bring your own project, something you might be nervous to try at home, and Helen will guide you through. Students must supply their own embroidery machine, and should be familiar with it's basic function (we strongly recommend you bring the owners manual to class).

    Experience: Intermediate Sewer with an Embroidery Machine

  • Youth Can Sew

    Get your youth immersed in the amazing world of sewing and fashion. These classes are for those who are ready to begin making garments. 

    Throughout the classes youth will gain the skills and techniques including basic sewing terminology and machine basics. As well as learning how to take measurements, understanding pattern layout and alterations.

    Experience: Beginner Youth 10+yrs and above

    Cost: $200+hst

    Date: 1st Saturday of the month from starting September 7th.

  • Kids Can Sew

    This class is for children who are interested in learning how to sew on a sewing machine.

    Students will begin learning all about the sewing machine while making a different project each month. Skills learned: sewing machine basics, sewing machine parts, how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin and load the bobbin, sewing machine stitching, using a pattern, cutting along the grain, and ironing material properly are just a few of the skills they will learn.

    A sewing machine is required (if you do not have one we have machines to borrow for the course.

  • Holiday Houses

    This series is designed to create beautiful hangings for yourself or as gifts. Finished size individually as 12" x 14 1/2" wall hangings. Each pattern includes complete and clear instructions with diagrams and a full sized positioning sheet for assembly. This is a fantastic project to embellish with all your favorite sequins, decorative buttons and trims.

  • Christmas Cheer

    Make the season bright with a beautiful wool-applique quilt that will spark your favourite Christmas memories as you make the 15 nostalgic wool-applique blocks. Each month we will work on a different block.
