We prefer to use Canada Post (click here) as our shipping agent whenever possible. XPresspost envelopes work well for smaller orders within Canada, though either expedited parcel or Canpar/UPS/FedEx are required for US destinations (except for patterns or other 'documents'). We have found that an Xpresspost pack will hold in excess of 4 metres of fabric and up to a kg (2.2lbs) is permitted. The cost is currently about $12.75 within Ontario and Quebec or $23.90 for the rest of Canada. A large quilt kit (without backing or batting) weighs about 2.5kg (5.5lbs) and can be sent to Vancouver by regular post for approximately $15.88. The same package mailed to Arizona would be about $24.26 and $21.80 to Maine . Unless specifically requested, we will ship orders by the most effective and economical way. Actual shipping costs will be added to your order and will be clearly marked on the invoice.
